They said something that I still remember and go by to his day. The human brain has the annoying ability to realize that if something is not quite right it won’t see it as real.
So that’s lighting, textures, small details, etc.
One of the problems with something like ACC is that it’s too perfect. It looks like a ray traced image. Nothing wrong with that it still looks amazing but because it’s so perfect we immediately know it’s not real.
Which brings me to kartkraft. I guess with the less complex nature of the sim (size of tracks, less complex similar vehicles) they can apply more processing power to the visuals?
That second shot does look real, very impressive and well done to the team on their work so far.
