Bonanza G36 Turbo Mod for MSFS

The Beechcraft Bonanza G36 is a fast single-engine, six-seat general aviation aircraft introduced in 1947 by Beech Aircraft in Kansas, United States. At first, they were producing conventional tail which continues and distinctive V-tail configurations until it ended in 1982. Bonanza production is still going on which makes it the longest aircraft being produced to date with more than 17,000 sold units. Bonanza G36 has been produced since 2006 till the present day. It’s based on the A36 model but comes with a built-in Garmin G1000 glass cockpit system.

Bonanza can be flown by one pilot and it can carry up to 5 passengers. The powerplant is one Continental Motors IO-550-B fuel-injected six-cylinder 300 horsepower (220 kW) for maximum cruise speed up to 176 knots (326 km/h). Flight range with full passenger load is 716 nautical miles (1,720 km) with an altitude service ceiling of 18,500 feet (5,600 meters). For this powerful single-engine aircraft you need 962 feet (294 meters) long runway for takeoff roll. Accidents in the history of Bonanza have occurred for many celebrity pilots in the past and the plane got a nickname of “forked-tail doctor killer” due to crashes by overconfident amateur pilots.

The Beechcraft Bonanza G36 is flyable in the next generation of Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe Editions. Robert Young has released the Bonanza Turbo mod for the default Bonanza G36. Turbo mod will enable the default Bonanza G36 to achieve 212 knots (243 mph) at 17,500 ft on cruise power and up to 222 knots (255 mph) on full power! It will climb at 1400 fpm at sea level and has full manifold pressure of 29+ inches all the way up to 18,000 feet. The ceiling is now extended to 25,000 feet.

The turbo-aspirated Bonanza vastly increases the climb and cruise performance of the default Bonanza G36 and is based on turbo conversions available in the aviation industry for real Bonanza G36 and A36 owners. It is therefore not a fictional mod but faithfully re-creates the features and power of the turbo conversion. It’s more than highly recommended to use the Working Title G1000 mod with this Bonanza Turbo mod, which fixes and adds missing features for the default Garmin G1000. Download the main zip files from the links below and install them in your Community folder. Updates for these mods are released regularly, so check their download pages from time to time.
